Cafe Soule and the Paris Room.

Located in the French Quarter, this French inspired restaurant has all the fun. Great location with all the history a New Orleanian and tourist could want. I would 100% recommend getting a tour of the place, it is beautiful! No onto the food-- I ordered the special at the moment: Oysters Rockefeller, French Onion soup, Crawfish Étouffée, and the Duck Confit crêpe with fries.

(Duck Crêpe: Savory crêpe filled with duck confit, grilled onions, spinach and your choice of cheese, with raspberry wine reduction for dipping and French Fries. Crawfish étouffée: Seasoned crawfish coupled with a French Cajun etouffee sauce and rice, Traditional. French Onion Soup: Traditional slow-cooked French Onion topped with French bread and melted Provolone.) Don't know what Oysters Rockefeller are? Here is a basic definition from Wikipedia: Oysters Rockefeller consists of oysters on the half-shell that have been topped with various other ingredients (often parsley and other green herbs, a rich buttersauce and bread crumbs) and are then baked or broiled.

My favorite? The French onion soup. Personally its one of my favorite soups to order and I had the most fun with the cheese. It wasn't too much cheese and really was great. Honestly I'd come back just for the soup 100%. I sat almost outside and had the pleasure to witness the ever fun wedding second line. Great energy, great food, a great time it was. Here is the menu.

Here are some shots from my visit to Johnny Sanchez in the CBD! Great service, great food. Need to come back for their happy hour and sip on some margaritas.  http://www.johnnysanchezrestaurant.com/menu/
